AI Lead Detection identifies the people who visit your website, so a visitor who never filled in a form can still become a lead with a name and a way to reach them. In your dashboard, these leads are labeled Web. On some dashboards the label reads AI Lead Detection instead. It means the same thing.

Do you have it?

AI Lead Detection is part of your account when the Alli team has set it up for your website. To check, open Leads and select Web (or AI Lead Detection):
  • If you have it, you see your website leads.
  • If you do not, you see Not connected yet with a note about AI Lead Detection.
To add it or check an existing website connection, send the team your website details.

Where Web leads appear

In Leads. Web leads sit in the same list as your call leads. Select All to see both together, or Web for website leads only. Each one shows:
  • When the visitor was identified
  • Their name, email and phone number
  • Their city and state
  • The campaign that found them, and the lead’s status
  • A Web label and the website they visited
See Leads for the date range and the rest of the list. In Dashboards. If your account includes Dashboards, the AI Leads tab shows your website leads over a date range: headline numbers, Leads Over Time, Leads by Status, Leads by Source and Leads by Campaign.

Good to know

  • A Web lead has no call behind it, so its row in Leads does not open a page of its own.
  • The Leads search box finds call leads only. To look through Web leads, select Web and narrow the date range.
  • A website visit does not always become an identified lead. The Web count and your website’s total traffic count measure different things.
  • A contact detail may be missing. Use the available information and report incorrect details to support.

What to do next

If you expected leads and the list is empty, follow the troubleshooting checks. If your website was redesigned or moved to a new platform, tell the team what changed. For the leads you already have, use the follow-up routine to give each next step an owner.
