# Voice call analytics

> Find a call, play the recording, read the transcript and summary, and see your call charts.

Every call Alli answers on your line appears in your dashboard. Open **Voice** from the menu, then **Calls**.

## The calls list

Calls are listed newest first, 10 to a page. Each row shows:

| Column | What it means |
| - | - |
| **DIR** | The direction of the call. Calls Alli answers are **Inbound**. |
| **FROM** | The caller's phone number |
| **PERSONA** | Your Alli receptionist that answered |
| **AGENCY** | The business the line belongs to |
| **STATUS** | The call's status, such as completed |
| **OUTCOME** | How the call ended |
| **DUR** | How long the call lasted |
| **TIME** | When the call came in |

Select any row to open that call.

## Filtering by outcome

Use the buttons above the list to show only one kind of call:

| Filter | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **All** | Every call |
| **Resolved** | Alli handled the call herself |
| **Transferred** | Alli passed the caller to a person |
| **Message taken** | Alli took a message for you |
| **Caller Hung Up** | The caller left before the call finished |
| **Failed** | The call did not connect properly |

## Searching

Type in the search box next to the filters to find calls by the caller's phone number, or by the receptionist or business name. Part of a phone number works too, in any format. Search covers your whole call history, and it works together with the outcome filter.

The search box at the top of every Voice page searches your calls the same way.

## A single call

Opening a call shows its number, the caller and the receptionist at the top, with a line underneath for the direction, length, time and outcome.

* **Recording.** Play the whole call, and skip to any point.
* **Transcript.** Every line from Alli and the caller, with the time it was said, starting with Alli's greeting. A line Alli may have misheard is marked **Low confidence**.
* **Another language.** A call in another language, such as Spanish, is labeled with it. Select **Show in English** above the transcript to read it translated, and **Show original** to switch back.

The panel on the right holds the details:

* **Outcome.** The status, the outcome, who ended the call, the receptionist, the business and the number the caller dialed.
* **Caller.** For someone Alli has spoken to before: their name, when they first called, what they called about last time and anything still open.
* **Summary.** The reason for the call, a short summary and a **To do** list of next steps.
* **Activity.** What Alli did during the call, such as a transfer or an appointment booked on your calendar.

After each call, Alli also emails a summary to the address on file for your line. To change where those emails go, [contact us](mailto:support@carroll.media).

## Call charts

If your account includes Dashboard, open **Dashboard** and then the **AI Voice** tab for your call numbers over time. A dimmed AI Voice tab means it is not connected for your business yet. The tab shows:

* Headline numbers for the date range you pick, each compared with the period before
* **Calls Over Time** and **Call Duration**, day by day
* **Call Outcomes** and **Top Callers**
* A **Call log** of the calls in that range

If your business has more than one Alli line, buttons at the top of the tab switch between them. See [Your dashboard](/dashboard#dashboards) for how date ranges work.

## Test calls

Open **Voice**, then **Test calls**, to hear Alli answer for your business. Select **Start a test call**, allow your microphone, and talk the way a caller would. Alli answers the way she will on your line, and the conversation shows up under **Transcript** as you go.

## Leads from your calls

When a caller asks about buying from you, the call also appears in [Leads](/leads) with the caller's details, so you can follow up.
